Casdagli (formerly Bespoke Cigars) represents the purest form of "aristocratic bespoke" cigars, founded in 1997 by Jeremy Casdagli, a descendant of a British-Finnish tobacco family. The brand's lineage traces back to the 19th-century Ottoman Empire, when the family traded Egyptian cotton and tobacco—Jeremy's great-grandfather owned a private cigar club in Cairo, rolling exclusive cigars for British officers and the Egyptian royal family. Currently, all cigars are 100% handcrafted at the top-tier boutique factories IGM (Industria de Tabacos Monte de Oro) in Costa Rica and Kelner Boutique Factory in the Dominican Republic, with annual production strictly controlled to under 150,000 cigars. The tobacco leaves are carefully selected from rare farms that the family has long been committed to: Ecuadorian Desflorado Cloud Wrapper (the thinnest and oiliest young leaves in the world), Dominican Piloto Cubano aged 8-12 years, Nicaraguan Jalapa Criollo 98, Peruvian Pelado, and American Connecticut Broadleaf.
