OpusX

OpusX is widely recognized as the "King of Non-Cuban Cigars" in cigar history. Created in 1995 by Carlos "Carlito" Fuente Jr., all cigars are 100% grown, fermented, aged, rolled, and packaged at his own Chateau de la Fuente estate in Santiago, Dominican Republic. OpusX's biggest revolutionary breakthrough is that it was the world's first cigar to successfully use Rosado wrappers (descendants of Cuban seeds) grown in the Dominican Republic to wrap a full-strength cigar. Before this, everyone believed that the volcanic soil of the Dominican Republic could not produce wrappers with sufficient oil content and resilience. Carlito spent 14 years and failed on tens of thousands of acres before finally growing the first batch of qualified Rosado wrappers in 1992, naming it "Fuente Fuente OpusX," meaning "the ultimate creation of the Fuente family."

   • OpusX Forbidden X: Darker, more intense wrapper, released irregularly since 2007.
   • OpusX Angel's Share: Introduced in 2014, it uses "Angel's Share" tobacco leaves with a thinner and oilier bottom layer of the wrapper, resulting in a more elegant flavor.
   • OpusX Oscuro: A very limited quantity of dark-colored Oscuro wrapper version
2. Top-tier limited editions and collector's items:
   • OpusX 20 Years Celebration (20th Anniversary "Box of Destiny")
   • OpusX Rare Black (All Black Tube, Black Ring Label, Limited Edition Black Tube)

   • The Lost City series (grown in the tobacco fields used in the movie "The Lost City", limited edition)
3. The ultra-rare fin shark series (Shark, Tiger Shark, Great White, and other unique sizes): only a few thousand pieces are produced each year, making them extremely valuable to collectors.
