Ashton is widely recognized in the cigar world as a "textbook example of elegance and balance." Founded in 1985 by legendary American tobacco merchant Robert Levin, all Ashton cigars are 100% hand-rolled at Chateau de la Fuente, the top-tier factory owned by the Carlos Fuente family in the Dominican Republic. Ashton has maintained an exclusive and in-depth collaboration with the Fuente family for nearly 40 years, with Carlito Fuente personally selecting the finest tobacco leaves, blending the formula, and overseeing the aging and rolling process to ensure that every cigar meets the ultimate standard of perfection. The tobacco leaves are sourced from top estates in the Dominican Republic, Cameroon, Ecuador, Connecticut, and San Andrés, Mexico. All wrappers and fillers are aged for at least 5 years, with top batches aged up to 10 years.

Ashton's main collections are clearly tiered and can be divided into the following five categories:

1. Absolute Peak Line (Ashton ESG – Estate Sun Grown): Ashton's highest grade ever, issued only on important anniversaries. It uses sun-dried tobacco leaves from the Dominican Republic and Ecuador that have been aged for more than 20 years. Production is extremely limited. It has been awarded 95-97 points by Cigar Aficionado multiple times and is regarded as the crown jewel of Ashton.
2. The second-highest strength line (Ashton VSG – Virgin Sun Grown): launched in 1999, it uses a dark Sumatra wrapper aged for 5-7 years on a private farm at high altitude in Ecuador, with a top-quality Ligero core from the Dominican Republic. It has a medium to full strength, with rich notes of cedar, black coffee, dark chocolate, leather, and sweet pepper. It has consistently ranked 94-96 points as a classic for 20 years.
3. The luxurious and elegant Ashton Cabinet Selection: Made with the rarest "seventh leaf" from the Connecticut shaded wrapper, aged for more than 7 years, it has a deep and silky flavor with notes of cream, cocoa, cedar, toast, and light sweet spices.
4. Ashton Classic: Gold Connecticut shaded wrapper, 3-5 year aged Dominican filler, mild to medium strength, with notes of cream, cedar, almond, honey and vanilla, globally recognized as "the smoothest everyday cigar".
5. Innovation and Limited Editions:
