La Flor Dominicana

La Flor Dominicana is the purest "tobacco artist" in the Dominican cigar world, founded in Santiago in 1994 by legendary Dominican brewer Litto Gomez and his wife Ines Lorenzo-Gomez. After 2000, they moved entirely to their own farm, La Canela, and factory, Tabacalera La Flor SA (located in Santiago, Dominican Republic), where all cigars are 100% handcrafted in their own factory. Litto Gomez personally oversees the entire chain from seed to finished product: their own farm grows top-quality tobacco leaves including Andullo (Dominican traditional rope-bound fermentation), Piloto Cubano, Olor Dominicano, Ecuadorian Sumatra, sun-dried Corojo, Mexican San Andrés, and Cameroonian tobacco. All leaves are aged for at least 5 years, with top batches aged up to 10 years.
