Arturo Fuente Casa Cuba Doble Seis

Casa Cuba was the final blend created by the late Carlos Fuente Sr., serving as his tribute to the Cuban cigar traditions passed down to him by his father, Arturo Fuente. Utilizing the blending techniques he used in his early years, he carefully selected an Ecuadorian Havana wrapper paired with Dominican-grown Cuban-seed binder and filler, all rolled at the Tabacalera A. Fuente factory in the Dominican Republic.

The sizes in this series are named after Cuban dominoes; "Doble Seis" translates to "double-six," corresponding to a 6 × 52 Toro format. The medium-bodied blend is fully expressed in this longer format, revealing a balanced and classic profile that serves as the perfect introduction to the Casa Cuba line.

The Arturo Fuente Casa Cuba Doble Seis opens with notes of cedar and cream, transitioning into an intricate interplay of roasted nuts, earth, and subtle spices. The profile is elegant and balanced, making this a classic work that embodies the Fuente family’s memories of Cuba.

The Three Acts of Flavor

First Third: Cold draws reveal notes of cedar and a hint of cream. Upon lighting, the smoke is smooth, with cedar and a subtle sweetness emerging first, accompanied by a warm woodiness—an elegant and clean start.

Second Third: The flavors begin to unfold. Roasted nuts become more prominent, while notes of earth and creaminess quietly follow, with subtle hints of spice and citrus. The palate is balanced and the smoke is full, resulting in a composition that is both relaxed and layered.

Final Third: The consistency remains stable throughout the final stretch. Wood and spice notes become more pronounced, with a clean finish accented by lingering notes of cream and a touch of sweetness. The entire experience is a classic and deeply comfortable smoke.
