Eiroa Dark 30th Anniversary 11/18
Eiroa Dark 30th Anniversary 11/18
For Christian Eiroa, thirty years is not just a number, but the culmination of everything from the tobacco fields of the Jamastran Valley to the present day. His family has been cultivating Corojo for generations, and he personally oversees every step from seed to finished product. Since its inception, the Dark series has been the most direct expression of the Eiroa brand, with deeper flavors derived from higher-priming tobaccos.
To mark his thirtieth anniversary in the industry, Eiroa chose not to simply re-release old blends, but instead thoroughly re-blended the Dark. Honduran Corojo remains the foundation, now complemented by tobaccos from the family's new farm in Colombia. The complete recipe has been intentionally left undisclosed, revealing only its direction, yet sparking curiosity about what changes lie beneath the familiar framework of this anniversary edition.
Eiroa Dark 30th Anniversary 11/18 opens with notes of black pepper and earth, gradually transitioning to an intertwining of cocoa, baking spices, and wood. The Perfecto shape allows for a more natural flavor progression throughout the burn, representing a solemn presentation after thirty years of experience.
