A. Flores 1975 Gran Reserva Corojo 2006 · 3.5 × 46 Half Corona
The Master's Signature Flagship Chapter:PDR Cigars was founded by renowned Dominican blender Abraham "Abe" Flores in the cigar-making mecca of Tamboril. As the workshop's benchmark series honoring its founder, "A. Flores 1975" takes its name from the year of his birth, embodying his decades-long unique understanding of traditional Cuban rolling techniques and cross-region leaf blending. Its classic recipe has been selected multiple times for authoritative lists such as Cigar Aficionado's Top 25 of the Year.
Rare 2006 Corojo Wrapper:The essence of this Gran Reserva Corojo 2006 lies in its carefully selected aged Dominican Corojo 2006 wrapper. Through years of natural aging, the leaves have developed a smooth, oily light reddish-brown hue, shedding their raw sharpness and settling into a mellow, delicate cream and wood aroma with natural sweetness. It features a Dominican Olor binder and a blend of aged Dominican and Nicaraguan Habano long filler leaves, offering balanced layers and rich depth.
Traditional Entubado Leaf Bundling and a Relaxed Short-Stick Experience:The workshop strictly adheres to the traditional Cuban Entubado (tubular leaf bundling) rolling process and triple cap method, allowing each long filler leaf to naturally form an independent airflow channel. Paired with a 3.5-inch length and 46 ring gauge, this scientific ratio not only ensures smooth draw but also allows the short stick to maintain an ideal smoking temperature throughout its 30-minute experience, remaining rich without overheating.

The cold draw releases a pure cedar aroma with a hint of sweet hay. Once lit, the smoke is smooth and mellow, with the 2006 Dominican Corojo wrapper presenting the mellow character unique to aged tobacco. The initial draw offers soft notes of light cream and roasted almonds, while the retrohale brings delicate white pepper and a light nutmeg spice for a smooth, relaxed opening.
As it reaches the middle, the richness of the Nicaraguan Habano filler gradually emerges. Notes of dark-roasted coffee, whole wheat biscuits, and mellow leather intertwine with the natural caramel sweetness of the Corojo leaves. The tubular leaf bundling provides a smooth, cool draw, producing dense, full-bodied smoke with distinct yet harmonious layers.
The latter half maintains a comfortable medium intensity. Dark-roasted cedar, pure cocoa, and mellow earthy aromas layer and settle, with the sweetness receding as the woody notes become deeper. The 46 ring gauge ensures the short stick maintains excellent temperature control through the finish, delivering a clean, mellow experience with a long, clean aftertaste.
